How is this bitter old man allowed to commentate on National telivision? Is he bitter that his last game at Notre Dame was a huge loss to USC or is he just plain old dumb. I mean, statistically, USC has lost 2 games in the past 3.5 years. One to a National Champion by 3, the other to Cal in triple overtime.

USC has a very capable quarterback replacing Matt Leinart (who wasn't performing very well at the end of last season) and like 400 All American freshman runing backs competing for Reggie Bush and LenDale White's role's. Additionally, USC's defense is stronger than it has been in years. Receiving? Which 3 in the country are better than Smith, Jarrett and Turner? (answer: none)


Either he's an idiot or a grumy old man who keeps a grudge.
